Tomorrow, Final Fantasy 13 comes out and I’m very excited about it. One cool, but not very cool thing about this game is that it isn’t system specific and is located not only on the PS3, but on the Xbox360. I prefer the brand loyalty over it being on X360. Here’s the most recent trailer:

Since Kanye West came out with 808s and Heartbreaks, I’ve been a lot more into him, so I want to post a newish video of a song he wrote, but doesn’t appear anywhere in the video. Phenomenal production though. The song is called coldest winter, and a lot of the album sounds like some sort of soundtrack or concept album. It’s really good. Today, I’m going to tell you why I love the band Explosions in the Sky…in the form of a story.

Upon some strange twist of fate, Explosions in the Sky played in sunny, yet sometimes snowy, Charleston, South Carolina. On that day, they played a glorious set filled with many of my favorite tracks…and when it was time for an encore, they came out and declined by informing the audience that “It’s not them(referring to the venue), it’s us.” I’m very excited that not only did they give it their all during their set, but also refused to make us happy.

And that is why I love Explosions in the Sky.
