Today the new models of the MacBook Pro came out. Are you excited? I’m excited. They finally incorporated the core i5(and i7) processor in the 15 and 17 inch models, but the prices have also increased. I’m actually quite sad that they didn’t put the i3 in the 13 inch models and kept the core 2 duo ones in it, even though there is a processor speed boost. Also, they put a graphics card in all models of the MBP and increased hard drive size. Also, that word that I can’t think of, but when you flick it and it keeps going…that happens.

If you didn’t understand anything in the last paragraph, just know that new MacBook Pros came out. That’s the silver(aluminum) ones, not the white one. Enjoy yourself.

I’ve been cruising the internet a lot lately and have been finding out a lot of bands that I like are coming out with new shit soon. I guess I’ll start buy saying that Skyeatsairplane has an ep out, or coming out…something like that. Anyway, they posted a new song on MySpace, and it ain’t half bad: www.myspace.com/skyeatsairplane

Secondly, I’ve learned that one of my favorite groups, 65daysofstatic is coming out with a new album. I am really digging the cover design. Simple. That’s what I’m into these days. Album’s called “We Were Exploding Anyway” and here’s the design:

Thirdly, Vanna hopped on some of the Warped Tour this summer. I was going to go anyway to make out with Sierra(@sierraVE), but going to see Vanna is certainly an added plus. Stoked and a half for that.

Alright guys. I guess that’s it. OH! One more thing! In an effort to increase the awesomeness of my band, E.V.A., I’m taking donations to get new equipment. What I’m primarily trying to buy is an Akai MPD, A Rane SL-1, at least one good turntable, and a MacBook Pro. It’s going to be expensive, but those are my goals. How have your resolutions that you started at the beginning of the year been going? I’ve been able to stay pretty on track this year, I’ve been making a lot of spreadsheets indicating things I want to do and how much I have reached them and whatnot. Writing things down, or in my case typing them out, makes things a lot easier to keep in mind because you have a physical reminder of what you’re actually trying to accomplish. I’m sure in you’re mind you’re thinking “typing it out won’t help at all because all you have to do is close the file, and if it’s out of sight, then it’s out of mind”, but it’s my desktop background. I switched my picture of Naruto Uzumaki out so that I could have goals. Just kidding, I’d never cover up Naruto.

Everyone has their favorite websites, whether it be youtube, twitter, facebook, or anything like that…and a new one that’s been popping up is this formspring nonsense. The essential point of formspring is that you can ask someone a question, any question, anonymously, and then they answer it to this anonymous person and it’s posted on their profile. Primarily this website is a tool for people to indirectly try and get with girls by anonymously telling them all of these awesome qualities or for people to basically send hate mail anonymously. Those are cool. Here’s some of my favorite questions I’ve received:
1. Ever stepped in dog shit, then brought it in the house all over the carpet?

So, there has been speculation of new MacBook Pro models rolling out soon, and I’m quite excited for that. My main purpose of buying a mac is so that I can screenshare with Taylor Stradling and steal pictures from her computer to post onto my website while she’s out doing her thing in SoFlo. In case you guys forgot, she’s beautiful. There’s everything but confirmation that the new Intel processors will be in the computers. The core series. I’m really stoked, it’ll make my band and my life better. I need iChat partners, so start dropping your screenames now so that I can build my repertoire up now. If you guys are interested in the new processors, called the core series…let me know. I’ll give you my basic explanation that I give people at work about it:
There’s a single core processor and a dual core processor, as we all know. So with the dual core, there’s straight up dual core which is 2 processors, and a simulated dual core which is one processor that acts as 2. The core series is 2, or even 4(for the upper core i5 and the core i7) of the simulated dual core processors, giving you 4 or 8-way processing.

My band is coming out with a few new shirt designs, as well as shorts for the ladiez soon. Also, we’re well in the process of writing for our next EP. We’re trying to just put out a lot of EPs so that we can cut out the filler and only provide you with hits. Here’s a small secret to one of my goals this year that I’ve been doing for the past few weeks. Something called “$2 Tuesdays” on this website called “The Blackmarkers”. Every tuesday, they put up a couple of things from their website up for $2, and you can purchase it at that price with the coupon code the provide on twitter. I’ve been doing it a lot lately. Lately, I’ve been noticing that a lot of people are beginning to acquire Android phones. Android is an operating system made by google that has been put on a few cell phones recently, such as the G1, HTC Hero, and the Droid. All of those phones are Android phones and fucking sick and I would advise you to get one over the iPhone. All I need is for google to come out with something like BlackBerry Messenger, I’m gonna call it “Android Messenger”, and I’m gonna drop Sandy Silverberry and use Hiro all the time. I’m glad for that. What I know I’m gonna be sick of is when people see my phone, they’re always gonna be like “Is that the Droid?” or “You have the Droid, right?”…I have an ANdroid phone, but not THE Droid. E.V.A played a show on Saturday night. I’m sure you figured that out, based on the flyers that I had posted. We killed it, of course. Rollin’ by Limp Bizkit was our cover. Cover album coming soon? Naw. Anyway, let me tell you about some of the other bands that played. Ophira did an outstanding job, especially for their first show. They had a pretty hefty light setup that went well with the vibe of their set. Outside of that, they were really tight and well put together. You know one of those sets where all of the songs just flow into each other? Would it be redundant for me to say that that’s what they did, after I asked about that type of set? Probably, so I won’t say it. Asking Alexandria has a lot of breakdowns. They also took all of my underaged girls from me. Damn Europeans. Do girls in Europe go crazy for American dudes? Probably not. Long story short, Aki Hoshino.

Continuing onward. Someone should tell me about some really good bands or albums that have dropped recently that I should probably listen to. Also, if anyone knows where I could cop a MacBook Pro for mad cheap, that’d be dope as well. I really want to make the switch to a Mac, but I just haven’t had the funds. I feel like that’s a problem many people face. And to anyone who has a PC and can afford a Mac, you’re a fool if you don’t cop one. Don’t get the iPhone though. That’s unnecessary.
