BlackDave.org – Divide and Conquer

Hey guys. Today, I’m going to tell you why I love the band Explosions in the Sky…in the form of a story.

Upon some strange twist of fate, Explosions in the Sky played in sunny, yet sometimes snowy, Charleston, South Carolina. On that day, they played a glorious set filled with many of my favorite tracks…and when it was time for an encore, they came out and declined by informing the audience that “It’s not them(referring to the venue), it’s us.” I’m very excited that not only did they give it their all during their set, but also refused to make us happy.

And that is why I love Explosions in the Sky.
